Sheet music by Tilman Steitz

Tilman Steitz studied at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt/M in the master class of Michael Teuchert.

He then completed postgraduate studies at the Hoch Conservatory in Frankfurt as a jazz guitarist with Albert Mangelsdorff.

He attended master classes with C. Lauer, T. Hoppstock, D. Russel and J. Abercrombie.

Works at the Frankfurt Opera House and the Theater am Turm, recordings for the Hessischer Rundfunk.

He plays classical guitar literature as a concert guitarist and contemporary postbop jazz guitarist. In the duo with double bass he has now found the connection between both styles.

He gives concerts as solo guitarist, in a duo with harpsichord as well as in a duo with double bass.
