New York Ouverture

The impressive city of New York with its pulsating life and incomparable atmosphere as well as the music of great American composers inspired Kees Vlak to this concert overture.

After landing at Kennedy Airport, the composer captures the sights of the metropolis of New York in his musical picture: Battery Park, the bustling 5th Avenue, Harlem, Central Park, the green heart of the giant city and of course the nightlife on Broadway. The farewell comes with a last look at the harbour and the Statue of Liberty. The fascinating "New York Overture" is not only a portrait of a great city, but also a special musical experience.
