from Piano Sonata No. 8 in c minor, Op. 13
The beautiful 2nd movement from the Grande Sonate Pathétique (Piano Sonata No. 8 in C minor, Op. 13) de Beethoven may well be one of the most delightful solo piano pieces ever and, over the years, has been arranged for many line-ups. In thisarrangement, Georges Moreau wanted to stay as close to the original as possible by giving the passionate aspect of the melody absolute priority. The very discreet accompaniment enhances this effect beautifully.
