Sound the Trumpets

As the title suggests, Deborah Monday's Sound the Trumpets uses a trumpet-like motive which is tossed among instrument sections.  The source of this tune comes from Shaker history and can be performed as a holiday piece or any other time of year. Written in D-major with simple rhythms, this piece is a great selection for any concert or festival.
