Song for Little Jenny

Pavel Stanék was associated for many years with the Czech Radio and the Vitkovák Wind Band. In the meantime he has made a name for himself as a versatile composer, especially in his work for the wind orchestra, and has received several awards at composition competitions. In his works he always strives for generally understandable musical expression, based on melodic ingenuity, balanced form and a feeling for orchestral colours. A new, simple work with a beautiful melody, for which this rating is absolutely correct, is entitled "Song for Little Jenny".
