Commissioned by The Episcopal Diocese of New York for a Consecration Service at St. John the Divine, this Psalm setting is straightforward and through-composed. The beautiful, rich harmonies flow through four-part and divisiphrases moving to a climactic 6-part section and diminishing to a sotto voce return of the opening material. Stunning.
