The little witch Valentina leads the young students in an age-appropriate manner through all three volumes of the method which was conceived for children at pre-school age or for young primary-school pupils. As a consequence, the learning rate is rather moderate. The method does without long explanatory texts, focusing instead on motivating exercises, music riddles and illustrations for colouring in.
