for Violin, String Orchestra and Harpsichord
"Nigun" is a fantasia concertante for violin, strings and harpsichord. The work has been written following the tradition of the secular and Hebrew synagogue music. The first part is a sentence, a sad thinking about people's fates and their future. The second part is a lively dance that symbolizes a happy and optimistic perception of life and a hope to the achievement of happiness.
