Concert and Contest Collection CBHA
The piece Sahara takes you on a journey into the world's largest dry desert, which is located in the north of the African continent. It covers 8 million square kilometres and covers ten states. The work describes the different landscapes of the Sahara, which are played by different groups of instruments to depict their particularities. Both a very rhythmic passage with a lot of percussion and a choral-like part with beautiful brass passages make the work a wonderful and demanding piece. With the help of this work you can also practice various technical aspects with your concert band, but it is also ideal as a concert or competition piece.
