The Banks of Newfoundland

In 1956 Howard Cable created Newfoundland Rhapsody, a collection of well loved folk songs from eastern Canada. This brilliant montage has been performed hundreds of times by band all over the world. This new edition, with extensive changes, will challenge a new generation of bands and band directors. Soaring solos, technical woodwind lines and colorful percussion writing make this a classic for wind band.
