Persistencies (1978)

Described as 'computer-like', Balada's 'Persistencies' does indeed seem to be a postmodern exploration in sound of what disappers and what remains, persists. The original version of 'Persistencies', a concerto for amplified guitarand orchestra, is said to be a tribute to Balada's Catalan origins.
