Sheet music by Hans Berger

Hans Berger is one of the most successful composers of Bavarian folk music. From the age of seven he began playing the zither, from the age of 12 he taught himself to play the organ. At the age of 25, he followed his passion for music by studying at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, where he graduated as a music teacher and passed the "Kirchenmusik B" examination.

From 1976 to 2013 he also worked as an organist and musical entertainer in the Bad Trißl Clinic, and since 2013 in the St. Peter Seniorenheim, Kiefersfelden. As a zither soloist, Berger has been commissioned by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Bavarian State Government and the City of Munich to travel around the world, including Rome (Pope Benedict XVI), Brazil, England, Scotland and France.
