Bert Appermont – Sheet Music & Scores

The Belgian composer Bert Appermont (b.1973) has made a name for himself as a Film & Television composer. However, musicals and diverse works for wind instruments are also part of his broad compositional spectrum. He likes to deal with the magic of nature, myths and history, and theories like “Egmont” and “The Big Bang”. His opera “Katharina von Bora” was premiered in 2010 at the Gewandhaus Leipzig. Appermont studied music at the Lemmens Institut in Leuven and the Bournemouth Media School in Great Britain, where he obtained a Masters in Music Design for Film & Television.

So far, Appermont has composed two musicals, two symphonies, an opera and an oratorio, as well as more than 100 pieces for wind orchestra, choir and symphony orchestra. Appermont is also a very successful conductor.
