Festive Music of Prague

Prague Festival Music" is a typical composition by Zdenek Lukaš. Lyrical and expansive, festive passages alternate with dramatic, sharply rhythmic sections. The instrument groups and their timbres are also juxtaposed, with radiant trumpets, horns and trombones on one side and soft cornets/winged horns and woodwinds on the other.

Zdenek Lukaš knows how to give the "Prague Festival Music" a very solemn and always forward-looking character by combining various rhythmic groups in addition to the tonal ones.

"Prager Festmusik" is a great and outstanding concert work for wind orchestras of the upper and highest level.
