Pandora's Box

Pandora appears in Greek mythology as the first woman created by the gods and sent to earth as an evil complement to humanity. "Pan" means "all-, total" and "dora" stands for "gifted". Pandora's box should never be opened. The various stories surrounding this box inspired Yagisawa to create this dramatic piece to complement his series of works based on Greek mythology, such as Perseus.
