Harold Hinchcliffe Sykes was a British twentieth century arranger and composer, who usually published under the name Harold H. Sykes. His setting of The Poor Snail is for Unison VoicewithPiano accompaniment. It laments the way in which a Snail must carry his home on his back. The lyrics were written by J. M. Westrup, who is best known for his poem Flying.
