Shine as the Light

Shine as the Light is another masterpiece by Peter Graham. The musical ingredients of challenge and depth, but above all joy of playing and accessibility, which make Graham's music so characteristic, are amply present. After a short majestic introduction, the first movement puts the orchestra to work in a spirited allegro with a fantastic drive. The second movement full of romance and emotion brings some soloists to the fore. In contrast, the third movement is virtuoso and, partly due to its grand finale, carries an extremely spectacular character.
