Kinderszenen op. 15

Robert Schumann's Kinderszenen (Scenes from Childhood) were at first composed as poetic tone Pictures without titles, which were added much later. In 1838 he arranged them into a cycle, reflecting rather the childish mind of ist creator than being dedicated to children and being characterised by Schumann himself as a reflection of an elderly Person for elderly People. With these skilfully scored Arrangements flautists can now also enjoy his romantic language.
