Ellens dritter Gesang
This music booklet contains the original notes of the classical song "Ave Maria" for piano & voice. The work is also known as 'Ellen's third song' - 'Hymn to the Virgin', D 839, Op. 52 No. 6. Franz Schubert composed this song in 1825 as part of his Op. 52, a setting of seven songs from Walter Scott's popular epic poem "The Lady of the Lake", loosely translated into German.
