The Swing classic "Sing, Sing, Sing", a big hit for the Benny Goodman Orchestra in 1937, was written by his trumpet player Louis Prima. Prima, born in New Orleans, did not only become famous for his sensational stage and radio performances, he also created his very own jazz style, a mixture of Dixieland and Swing.
