3 Miniatures

The 3 Miniatures for flute and piano is part of a series of pieces being written for all wind instruments. Although the first movement begins lyrically, in general the outer movements have a tendency to be rather angular and quirky. This is contrasted with the second movement, which is more lyrical and calm.
