Geistliche Musik
Since its composition in France in the 1920s, "Otche nash" (Our Father) by Nikolai Kedroff, Sr. (1871-1940) has become one of the most-beloved settings of the Lord’s Prayer among both Russians and non-Russians. Departing from the tradition of singingthis prayer congregationally, this composition evokes the meditative and deeply devotional aspects of this moment in the Orthodox Divine Liturgy.
