Many requests have been made to have Kevin’s enormously popular work for brass quintet arranged for Wind Ensemble. This is going to be your favorite concert opener, and the band will love it too. A stirring and poignant piece has been expertly crafted by Paul Bhasin to be a winning band showcase. Escape was originally written for the University of Maryland graduate brass quintet, and was premiered at the conclusion of McKee’s Masters Degree recital. It is an exciting and invigorating piece, sure to bring the house down. A contrasting middle section adds poignant relief before the flight resumes in epic, cinematic style. For advanced ensembles.
