Expect big things from this little scherzo. A triplet pickup rolling into staccato triads give this piece its initial march-type feel. Then listen for simple yet surprising modulations that have real harmonic character. While rhythmically similar to Mad Max’s March, it creates an altogether different, introspective impression.
