Cadenzas for Beethoven Concerto Op. 61, Brahms Concerto Op. 77, Mozart KV 219, Mozart Adelaide-Concerto, Paganini Concert Op. 6, Tartini Devil’s Trill Sonata. Maximilian Hennig (1891-1989) was in the 1920s known as a violin virtuoso and music teacher. After studying at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin, he founded in 1922 a string quartet named after him in Wroclaw, with whom he made through 22 years many concert tours. In addition, he performed successfully as a soloist at home and abroad for many years. From 1936 he led a violin master class at the State Music School in Wroclaw. After 1946 he taught in Berlin, where he was also appointed professor.
