David Eddleman has written a marvelously sensitive setting of this lovely Christina Rossetti poem. Originally an art song for solo voice, the solo line and melodic contours have been beautifully adapted to the a cappella choral medium. This is an elegant and touching choice for Festival and Concert programs.
