Elegy I

Elegy I "Jealousy" was named after the poem of the same title by John Donne. Jealousy can trigger a whole range of emotions - from disappointment, sadness, regret to anger and rage. Inspired by Donne's poem and a painting by Edvard Munch, Jacob de Haan has succeeded in translating all these feelings into music. A moving concert work that you should not miss.
