Duos for 2 Horns

About the musician and arranger of this duo, Auguste Schneider, to the limited information of the title is unfortunately not known. He arranged this Hornduos after the opera "Masaniello, ou Le Pêcheur Napolitain" the composer Michele Carafa (1785 - 1872), which on 27 Premiered in December 1827 in the Opera-Comique in Paris.

The dedicatee Kreube Frederic (1777 - 1846) was a conductor at the Opera Comique, violinist, and also composed many works for the stage.
