Le Nozze Veneziane

For many people Venice with its historical buildings, canals and gondolas is the most beautiful city in the world - and therefore almost perfect for the most beautiful day in life. Le Nozze Veneziane begins with a festive overture. The wedding ceremony is held in Santa Maria dei Miracoli, a beautiful early Renaissance church that is particularly popular with bridal couples. From there the wedding party drives on gondolas through the canals of Venice. You can hear a gondola song (Barcarole) and while driving under the Rialto bridge you can hear the choir of the Gondolieri. Afterwards, until late into the night, a Tarantella is celebrated on St. Mark's Square to the rousing rhythm.
