Description
Dies ist die erste Komposition, die wir von Giovanni Bottesini haben, geschrieben im Jahr 1834.
Italo Caimmi (1889–1918), ein Schüler Bottesinis, gab eine Kopie an Giuseppe Marangoni (1866–1947), Solokontrabassist der Mailänder Scala, weiter, der wiederum eine Kopie für Lebrecht Goedecke (1872–1947), Solokontrabassist der Berliner Philharmoniker, anfertigte.
Die vorliegende Veröffentlichung basiert auf dieser Kopie, die von Klaus Stoll und Jan Alm überarbeitet und herausgegeben wurde.
