Description

Die Kantate geht auf zwei frühere Werke Bachs zurück: Urform war die Kantate "Alles, was von Gott geboren" (Weimar 1715, BWV 80a), eine zweite Fassung (BWV 80b) entstand zwischen 1727 und 1731 in Leipzig. Der schlichte Choralsatz, der diese 2. Fassung eröffnet, ist in der vorliegenden Version (BWV 80) im Anhang mitgeteilt.
