Ukrainian composer Viktor Kosenko (1896-1938) was highly regarded in his lifetime as a concertmaster, pianist, educator, and composer. Taken from his Four Children’s Pieces for Piano, this arrangement for string orchestra features four delightful movements: I. Scherzino, II. Melody, III. Olden Dance, and IV. March. Each contrasting theme can be performed alone or as a full performance of all four movements.
