In his piece Contradanse, the composer – now living in Brooklyn – lets the often neglected outside voices of the saxophone quartet soprano and baritone saxophone enter into a dialogue, combining their beautiful melodic communication through the piano - a beautiful piece of neo-romantic music that is not too technically complicated leaves plenty of room for personal interpretations!
