Piano Textbook 2

The FOLLOW-UP to the NOTUS Piano Textbook 1. This is the 3rd book of the PIANO COURSE written in NOTUS Music Notation*.

With this NOTUS Piano Textbook 2 you evolve from Early Intermediate to Intermediate level. The book contains 52 pieces by 35 composers including some very well-known compositions such as Greensleeves, Les Feuilles Mortes, The Entertainer and even Erik Satie's Gnossienne No. 2. A particularly varied set in which pieces are often two pages long.

The Fourth and only MusicTheory Intermezzo covers in detail the major and minor keys, the construction of their scales, the scale degrees and their mutual fields of tension, the new NOTUS key signature and the NOTUS Arc of Fifths (a detailed version of the classical Circle of fifths). Following are all (=48) major and melodic and harmonic minor keys and scales and the fingering to practice them. As in Piano Textbook 1, new musical concepts are explained under a composition in which they occur.

The book is suitable for self-study or study under the guidance of a classically trained piano teacher.
