French organist and composer, Marcel Dupré (1886-1971) is also remembered as a significant pedagogue. His Méthode d'Orgue is for beginner students of the Organ, who have previously acquired some Piano technique.

The book is in two parts: the first giving focus to technique through means of exercises of progressive difficulty. The second part has the object of providing solutions to problems which the organist may encounter, such as periodic differences in ornamentation.
