Pastorellas

"Pastorellas", which are particularly popular in southern Germany and Austria, are a type of stylized "pastoral music" that is characterized by the use of folk melodies and the imitation of bagpipes. Some of the pieces in this collection were only recently rediscovered in the long-lost archive of the Berliner Sing-Akademie and are published here for the first time.
