Introduction, Theme and Variations Op. 102

The work makes great demands on the soloist and, especially in the more freely fashioned sections, gives him many occasions to display his virtuosity. Of exceptional charm is a section entitled "Tempo di Valse" which the composer enhanced through two “Alternativi."

The edition is based on the autograph score preserved in London's British Museum.
