Sonata „Come, God Creator, Holy Spirit"

The sonata premiered in 2016 is based on the Luther chorale Komm, Gott Schöpfer, Heiliger Geist (Come, God Creator, Holy Spirit) and consists of three parts: 'The first movement transforms the first eight notes of the chorale melody into a virtuoso figurative movement, the second movement presents the complete chorale in a highly chromatic harmonization. The concluding fugue is treated in three development sections becoming successively more animated in rhythm and dynamics.' (Stefan Heucke)
