"Homenatge a Mompou" entstand anlässliche des 25. Todestages von Fréderic Mompou. Das Werk besteht aus drei Teilen, die sich in unterschiedlicher Art und Weise auf Mompou beziehen.
In "Crits en el carrer" wird ein direkter rhythmisch-melodischer Bezug auf ein Motiv in Mompous Musik hergestellt, variiert und bearbeitet. Im zweiten Stück "Tinc una nina vestida de blau" wird ein traditionelles spanisches Kinderlied melodisch und rhyhtmisch fragmentiert und neu kombiniert. Im letzten Stück "Jocs en el carrer" wird durch die Energie und Brillanz der Musik die spielerisch-rhythmisch-musikalische Persönlichkeit Mompous zelebriert.
